Helen Louise Roberts, age 76, of Naples, Texas, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023 at her home. Helen was born July 18, 1947, in Deport, Texas, to Bob Ernest Roberts and May Dell Loften Roberts.

Helen was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta, Texas. She was a waitress, a truck driver, a cashier, and too many other things to list. Helen enjoyed sewing, gardening, and raising animals. She also enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren grow and was always giving Gene hell.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Badgett; her parents; two brothers, Roy Roberts and Howard Roberts; one sister, Linda Roberts; and one grandson, Michael Bechler.

Survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law, Debbie Castillo of Hoover, Alabama, Barbara Stallworth of Lone Star, Texas, and Vickie and Bobbie Ball of Naples, Texas; one brother, Hollis Roberts and wife Kay of Dekalb; one sister, Tina Roberts and husband Emory of Texarkana, Texas; 10 grandchildren, Michelle Bechler, Rick Castillo, Carri Anna Scott-Demoulin, Colby Scott, Jennifer Diaz, Ray Burris, Tiffany Badgett, Annie Hughes, Cassie Smith, and Michael Orta; 21 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta, Texas with Dr. Chas Carlisle officiating.
