Obituary

J. Mack Presley, age 95, of Tyler, Texas, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026, at his home. Mack was born April 20, 1930, in Naples, Texas, to James William Presley and Manada Mae McDaniel Presley.

Mack worked for the USDA Soil Conservation Service for 33 years, until retiring in Washington DC. in 1985. Mack was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Rotary Club. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mack was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ann Biggs Presley; and one brother, Porter Presley.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Stan Presley and Dr. Jaimee Morgan Presley of Sandy, Utah; one step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Mark and Connie Rogers of Harrison, Arkansas; one step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Terri and Carlos Navarette of Belton, Texas; one niece, Portia Gordon of Nacogdoches, Texas; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Spring Hill Cemetery in Naples, Texas, with Bro. Donavan Jarvis officiating.
