Jackie Lynn "Jack" Traylor, age 71, of Naples, Texas, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023, in Daingerfield, Texas.  Jack was born September 3, 1951, in Naples, to JC Traylor and Johnnie Kate Thigpen Traylor.

Jack was a member of the Church of Christ in Naples, where he and his son, Casey were baptized together on Father's Day 1995.  Jack was a rancher and bull hauler.  He was a lifetime member of the American Quarter Horse Association and loved anything to do with horses and cattle.  He enjoyed steer roping, team roping, riding cutting horses, and reading Louis L'Amour books.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; one sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Jeff Dalton; and one niece, Jan Ragland.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Randy Burgess of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Casey and Rae Lynn Traylor of Omaha, Texas; the mother of his children, Pat Foshee of Jefferson, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, J Roy and Nita Beth Traylor of Naples; seven grandchildren, Mackenzie Traylor, Katelyn Burgess, Jonathan Burgess and wife Sherlyn, Jaclyn Traylor, Brooke Traylor, JC Traylor, and Sadie Kate Traylor; one niece, Jyl Wood and husband Bryan; several great and great-great nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 24, 2023 at the Springhill Cemetery Church in Naples with Rev. John Hooton officiating.  Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Springhill Cemetery Association.
