Jackie Don "Jack" Hoskison, Jr., of Minden, Louisiana, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016, in Houston, Texas. Jack was born December 14, 1978 in Linden, Texas.

Jack worked at a few different jobs over the years, but his passion was music. Jack was a connoisseur of music. He was a guitarist/singer/songwriter who had received numerous awards for his musical talent. He loved to sing and play with his band, The Previous Darlings. Jack was also a devoted father.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Christine Welsh and Alta Faye Whitely.

Survivors include his fiancé, Elaine Eaton of Minden; father, Jackie Don Hoskison, Sr. of Naples; mother and stepfather, Margie Welsh Blaisdell and Steve Blaisdell of Naples; two sons, Maverick Hoskison and Isaac Hoskison; two daughters, Emma Hoskison and Autumn Hudson; one sister, Misty Hoskison of Naples; one stepsister, Hope Robichaud of Santa Rosa, California; one grandfather, Melvin Whitely; two nephews, Austin and Jackson Hoskison; three aunts, Peggy Billen, Linda Bobo, and Anne Berry; three uncles, Jimmy Lindsey, Wesley Welsh, and Joe Welsh; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2016, at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Flat Creek Cemetery with Bro. John Taylor officiating.
