Jake Edwin Davis,29, of Omaha, Texas.

Husband of Amanda Brooke Criswell – Davis. Jake was a devoted, fun, and loving dad to Adelyn Kate Davis, Jeden Oliver Davis, Selestine Rayne Criswell, and Issac Wayne Criswell. He was born in Mount Pleasant, Texas on March 9th, 1995, to Toby and Ronda Davis. He passed away in Hughes Springs, Texas, on December 16th, 2024. Jake was a graduating student of Paul H Pewitt High School where he was a proud participant in Brahma cross county and was completely involved in agriculture where he excelled in many things. Jake began his life fishing, hunting, and working with his family outdoors where he fell in love with nature and the time he spent with his dad and brother. At a young age, he began learning from his paw and daddy how to build a lifelong career in construction craftmanship, iron work, rigging, and so much more. He created and held together not one but two beautiful families and was the glue for many more family and friends. He will be more than missed, mourned, or grieved by every single person he knew. He made everyone around him feel like family. Jake would stop to help turtles cross the road, hitchhikers, and stop on the side of the road to help anyone that was stuck. Jake was the epitome of LOVE.

Jake is survived by his wife, Amanda Criswell – Davis; children, Adelyn Davis, Jeden Davis, "Pumpkin" Selestine Criswell, Issac Criswell; father, Toby Davis; mother, Ronda Davis; brother Dalton and wife Jazlyn Hammack; nephew, Christian Collier; niece, Emersyn Davis; niece, Mary Davis; his "Paw" Ron Williams, and grandmother, Wanda Williams; His Nanny, Brenda Leathers and "Pa Pa" Charles Leathers along with his cousins, Khristian Davis, Austin Jones, Charity Jones, and Preston Jones; Uncle, Marlin Martin; Aunt, Susan Giles and cousins Ashley Comer, Kathryn Harman, James Comer, and David Comer. Special friends that have become family include but not limited to Kyle Jackson, Branson and Mary Ricks and their daughters, Laiken and Maddi, Malik Alexander, Hannah Marie, Melissa Wilson and Aldric Wilson and children, Ashley Hall and Colton Hall. Codie Richardson and Cody and Emily Willis and their children, Ellie and Cooper. Gage Tucker, Gracey Lopez, and Shelby Wallace. He was preceded in death by Madison Starr Davis and his Papaw Glen Edwin Davis.

A celebration of life service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 28th, at the Blodgett Church of Christ in Pittsburgh, TX, 9278 FM127, Pittsburg, TX 75686.
