James Darrel LaFollett, age 92, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025 at his home.  James was born January 14, 1933, in McKinney, Texas, to Arch Alford LaFollett, Sr. and Iva Lester Cashon LaFollett.

James attended Liberty Baptist Church in Naples, Texas.  He was a United States Navy Veteran.  He retired from Lasting Products where he worked as a tool designer.  James enjoyed bowling and golfing.  He also enjoyed restoring old tractors and cars and woodworking.  James loved the Dallas Cowboys.

James was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Arch LaFollett, Jr., Malcolm LaFollett, and Johnny LaFollett; and two sisters, Margaret Graham and Emogene Gray.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Debbie LaFollett of Omaha; one daughter and son-in-law, Shellie and Marty Heard of Omaha; two grandchildren, Taylor Heard and Trent Heard and wife Harley; one great-grandchild, Vallie Heard; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Harrison Funeral Home.
