James Lowell McCord, age 60, of Naples, Texas passed away Friday, October 7, 2016, at his home. James was born October 31, 1955, in Linden, Texas, to Travis and Lorine McCord.
James was a United States Navy veteran. After getting out of the Navy, James was a truck driver. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and he loved playing with his grandchildren. James was a member at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta.
James was preceded in death by his father, Travis McCord; and one brother, Eddie McCord.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Joyce of Naples; his mother, Lorine McCord of Marietta; one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Diane McCord of Raton, New Mexico; three daughters, Leanna McCord and Michael Pipes of Douglassville, Texas, Amelia Coats of Atlanta, Texas, and Beth Miller of Omaha; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Becky and Randall Cobb of Naples and Lisa McCord of Naples; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Laurie McCord of Marietta, fourteen grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
