On Monday, October 17 , 2022, Janet Elizabeth Traylor Ragland, age 60, of Naples, Texas passed away surrounded by her family. Jan was born October 8 , 1962 to J. Roy Traylor and Nita Beth Crow Traylor.

Jan was a member of the Rocky Branch Church of Christ. She held a seat on the Springhill Cemetery Association board. She received her Bachelor's of Early Childhood Education from Texas A&M University Texarkana while working as a bookkeeper and operating Traylor Farms for many years. Helping to open and see Rocky Branch Grocery thrive was an important goal in her life. She had a love for helping people, spending time telling stories and reminiscing, making anyone feel special and love was her greatest gift. If you needed to feel loved, accepted, cared for, or spoiled Jan's home and arms were always open. She loved reading, sewing, cooking, and art. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family with whom she loved fiercely and without limits.

Jan is preceded in death by her grandparents, JC and Jonnie Kate Traylor, Cooper and Bessie Mae Crow; one aunt, Kathy Traylor Dalton; and one uncle, Chester Crow.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 21 , 2022 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas.  Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22 , 2022 at Springhill Cemetery Church in Naples, Texas with Bro. John Hooton officiating.  Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery.

Jan loved and supported the efforts of the Springhill Cemetery Association.  Donations may be made to this organization in her honor by mailing a check to P.O. Box 1185, Naples, Texas 75568.
