Joseph M. "Jay" Harrison, III, age 71, of Aubrey, Texas, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020.  Jay was born May 16, 1949 in Patuxent River, Maryland to Joseph M. Harrison, Jr. and Syble Frances Haley Harrison.

Jay was a member at First Baptist Church in Krugerville, Texas.  He was a retired banking software consultant and loved his job very much.  Jay was a member of the National Rifle Association, the Hagee Ministries, and CUFI (Christians United for Israel).  Jay enjoyed horses and cattle and he loved his dogs, Blessed and Socks.

Jay was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Doa Harrison of Aubrey, Texas; one stepdaughter, Miranda Raines of Aubrey, Texas; two stepsons-in-law, Tony Leija of Pilot Point, Texas and Rick Bell of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2020 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bryans Mill, Texas with Rev. Sam Redfearn officiating.
