Jerry Clifton "J.C." Gildon Jr., age 55, of Naples, Texas, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 in Mount Pleasant, Texas.  Jerry was born April 11, 1966 in Texarkana, Texas to Jerry Clifton Gildon, Sr. and Katheryne Louise Harris Gildon.

J.C. attended Restoration Family Worship Center in Naples, Texas.  J.C. spent most of his adult life as a mechanic. He was a member of the Naples Volunteer Fire Department.  J.C. enjoyed watching tv, working on small engines and working in the yard.

J.C. was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Clifton Gildon Sr.; one son, Timothy Finley; one sister, Renee Mayhaw; and one nephew, Justin Mayhaw.

Survivors include his mother, Katheryne Gildon of Naples; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Ryan Gildon of Longview, Texas, and Jonathan and Jennifer Gildon of Naples; one daughter and son-in-law, Kayla and Donald Spatts of Linden, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Denise Gildon of Naples; three grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples with Rev. Charles Wilson and Rev. Bryan Peck officiating.  Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Naples.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Naples Volunteer Fire Department.
