Jeanette Knight Derrick, age 80, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 at her home. Jeanette was born December 30, 1941, in Omaha, to Clive Vernon Knight and Tommie Hart Knight.

Jeanette was a member of First Baptist Church in Omaha.  She spent her life taking care of her family as a homemaker.  She enjoyed cooking, working in her yard, and going camping.  Jeanette loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Derrick; her parents; one brother, Vernon Hart; two sisters, Nona Knight and Kate Knight; and two brothers-in-law, Dowell Wright and Donnie Ebarb.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Brad Derrick of Omaha, and Clint and Michelle Derrick of Naples, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Bud McCollum of Omaha; one sister, Joyce Wright of Rockwall, Texas; one sister-in-law, Nancy Ebard of Bossier, City, Louisiana; fifteen grandchildren, Ashley Gillispie, Katie Satterfield, Christina Brown, Deidra Hooton, Dillan Derrick, Cody Morris, Jacob Morris, Emily Barnett, Emily Braddock, Zachary Alsup, Lee McCollum, Randa Priefert, and Brady McCollum, Dustin Weatherford, and Haley Patterson; twenty-six great-grandchildren; special friends, Jo Robertson and Kim Tucker; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.  Interment will follow at Omaha Cemetery in Omaha.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2022, prior to the funeral.
