Jennie Lee Tenbrook, age 86, of Marietta, Texas, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 in Tyler, Texas. Jennie was born July 9, 1934 in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Jennie retired from Red River Army Depot. She was known for her good cooking, and enjoyed flowers, yardwork, tending to her animals, reading, sewing, crossword puzzles, painting, and crafts.

Jennie was preceded in death by her parents, Jonas A. Dennis and Minnie Lee Freeman Dennis; one daughter, Jane Dee Tenbrook; one sister, Juanita Satterwhite Fields; and two brothers, George B. Satterwhite, and Carl W. Satterwhite.

Survivors include her husband, of 68 years, Wendell Tenbrook of Marietta, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Mike Jones of Seven Oaks, Texas; one sister Georgia Muller of North Carolina; two granddaughters, Kari Prihoda and husband Brad of Conroe, Texas and Laci Murphy and husband Kevin of Seven Oaks, Texas; five great-grandchildren, Colin Prihoda, Sydney Prihoda, Maddox Murphy, Mason Murphy, and Michael Murphy; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Marietta with Dr. Chas Carlisle officiating.
