Virginia Ruth "Jenny" Perkins, age 86, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019, in Hughes Springs, Texas.  Jenny was born June 22, 1933 in Marietta, Texas to Harvey E. Barron and Bertha Boddie Barron.

Jenny was a member at First Baptist Church in Omaha, Texas.  She was a member of the first graduating class of Paul Pewitt High School in 1951.  In her younger years, Jenny worked for the US Postal Service in Texarkana.  She then opened Jenny's Beauty Shop and operated it for over 30 years.  She enjoyed traveling, playing slots, quilting, canning food, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Jenny was preceded in death by two husbands, Robert Lee Waits and Bob Perkins; her parents; one son, Robert Wayne Waits; one son-in-law, Don Deaton; three brothers, Dub Barron, Jamie Barron, and Larry Barron; one sister, Elizabeth Barron.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Jan Deaton of Cushing, Texas, and Sherry and Robert Morris of Naples; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard Barron and Ruby Jacquot of Daingerfield, Texas and Carl and Alice Barron of Marshall, Texas; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lindle and Angel Waits of Omaha; four grandchildren, Davy Wommack, Jill Martin and husband Billy, Jeffery Gilliland and wife Teresa, and Bobby Gilliland; six great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.  Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Omaha Cemetery in Omaha with Rev. Keith Lauter officiating.
