Obituary

Jerry Vernon Robison, age 64, of Winnsboro, Texas, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in Sulphur Springs, Texas.  Jerry was born November 9, 1956, in Naples, Texas to Cecil Vernon Robison and Jonnie Louise Maglaughlin Robison.

Jerry was a member of the First Congregational Methodist Church in Elkhart, Texas.  He retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice where served as a corrections officer.  Jerry was currently working as a social monitor at Brookshire's.  Jerry also drove a truck in his younger years.  Jerry loved fishing, camping, and spending time at the lake.  He also enjoyed working around the house, cooking, and singing.  He loved all of his pets.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Damon Robison; one grandson, Trystan Robison; and one brother, Gary Robison.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Robison of Winnsboro; one daughter, Kami Robison Smith of Naples, Texas; one son, Lucas Chad McCoy of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; three brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Fannie Robison of Rockwall, Texas, Cecil and Cathy Robison of Omaha, Texas, and Johnny and Paula Robison of Naples; four grandchildren, Lexi Cobb, Jayden Cobb, Charli Smith and Shelbi Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2020 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.

Memorial services will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 7, 2021 at the family farm in Marietta, Texas.
