Jerry Dean Rook, age 82, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Monday, August 3, 2026, at his home. Jerry was born June 10, 1944, in Jacksonville, Texas, to J. D. Rook and Nannie Laura Williams Rook.

Jerry was a member of the David Elliott Masonic Lodge #364, the Hughes Spring Masonic Lodge #671, and he was also a member of the Scottish Rite. Jerry enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bob Rook and Richard Rook; and one sister, Mary Kendrid.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Grimes Rook; two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary Ann and Curtis Waller of Princeton, Texas, and Tammy Jones of Caddo Mills, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Carla Rook of Elysian Fields, Texas; four grandchildren, Jesse Jones, Casey Jones and wife Jesyca, Josh Wooten, and Chris Wooten; one great-grandchild, Carson Jones; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Cremation Arrangements are under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home, Naples, Texas.
