Joseph Richard "Joey" Patterson, age 63, of Pittsburg, Texas, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 in Pittsburg.  Joey was born July 7, 1959, in Naples, Florida to Johnny Patterson and Lindsey LaNita Townsend Patterson.

Joey was a truck driver for Daryl Thomason Trucking, Inc.  He enjoyed gambling, fishing, listening to music, and working on old cars.  He had the gift of gab and never met a stranger.  Joey loved spending time with his family.

Joey was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Patterson; his father; and one son, Cory Patterson.

Survivors include his mother, Lindsey Yates of Huntsville, Arkansas; two sons, Jason Patterson and Jennifer Keen of Pittsburg, and Terry "Corky" Truitt of Gilmer; two daughters, Kelli Patterson and Myeasha Martin of Pittsburg and Kellsey and Brett Scarborough of Gilmer; two brothers, Johnny and Vicki Patterson of Arkansas and Gordon Patterson of Florida; two sisters, Susie and Travis Dawson of Lovelady, Texas and Kim Cannon of Florida; eight grandchildren, Madison, Richard, Kierra, Jaden, Gabby, Colt, Jaylynn, Aubree, and Taylor; special friend, Sharon Fant; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Cornerstone Apostolic Church, 105 Arch Davis Road, Pittsburg, TX 75686.
