John Sidney Boyett, age 72, of Naples, Texas, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at his home.  John was born July 14, 1946 in Hollis, Oklahoma to Montie Joe Boyett and Gracie Adeline Keeton Boyett.

John was a member at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta.  He graduated Borger High School in 1964 and then received his associate's degree. John also went through Seminary. He retired from Sanden Vendo Vending Machine Company where he was a credit manager.  John was a United States Navy Veteran, having served as a Linguist in Naval Intelligence.  John was a member of the National Association of Credit Managers, former president of the Tri-County Choral Society, and also served on he Borger High School Reunion Committee.  He enjoyed playing golf, woodworking, watching sports, and singing.  He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing and hunting.

John was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Boyett, in 2018; and his father.

Survivors include his mother, Gracie Boyett of Borger, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mindy and Rob Harrel of Fort Worth, Texas and Katie and Jason Webb of Midlothian, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Montie and Natalie Boyett of Borger; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra and John Karl Davis of Fort Worth and Myra and Allen Tate of Cypress, Texas; five grandchildren, Robert Harrel, Gracie Harrel, Cheyenne Webb, Benson Harrel, and Dakota Webb; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2019 at Harrison Funeral Chapel in Naples with Bro. Bryan Peck officiating.
