Joshuia Montrel "Josh" Hill, age 23, of Naples, Texas, passed away Friday, May 8, 2020, in Naples.  Josh was born April 10, 1997 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Anna Mae Hill and Theodore Scott Hill.

Josh was currently employed with Morris County Contractors.  Josh graduated from Paul H. Pewitt High school in 2015, where he was a stand-out football player.  In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, playing basketball and football, and spending time with his family.

Josh was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Thomas C. Coffey and T.S. Hill; one grandmother, Mattie Richmond; one sister, Janeen Hill; and two uncles, LeeRoy Hill and Anthony Hill.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Anna Hill and Curtis Jones of Naples; father and stepmother, Scott and Emma Hill of Missouri City, Texas; grandmother, Sally Hill of Omaha, Texas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Sharonika Hill of Naples and Denise and Victor Hawkins of Longview; five brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jarvis Hill of Naples, Jeremy Warren of San Antonio, Texas, T. Scott and Nina Hill of Nacogdoches, Texas, Timothy and Latricia Hill of Dallas, Texas, and Tony Hill of Missouri City, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Morning Star Cemetery in Naples with Lan Buford officiating.  The body will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas. In light of the current governmental health regulations, social distancing will be enforced.
