Joyce Sheffield Hampton, 91, of Magnolia, AR, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at her home.

Joyce was born on Wednesday, July 15, 1925 in Linden, TX to the late Herschel Nelson and Beulah (Morris) Sheffield. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Naples, TX and she worked in the banking business for many years.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents; husband J. Morgan Hampton; brothers, EH Sheffield and Howard Sheffield; and sister Myra Jo Daniel.

She is survived by her son Stephen Hampton and wife Margaret Ann of
Magnolia, AR; daughter Julia B. Granger and husband James of Horseshoe Bay, TX; brother Robert Sheffield and wife Debby of Linden, TX; sisters in law, Peggy Sheffield and Bertha Sheffield both of Linden, TX; grandchildren, Holly Franks and husband Jeffrey of Magnolia, AR, Gina Sneed of Plano, TX, James Granger of Wenatchee, WA, and Thomas Granger of Minneapolis, MN; and great grandchildren, Carson Franks and Brooklyn Franks both of Magnolia, AR.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Cornett Cemetery in Cornett, TX with Rev. Jay Barnes officiating under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home of Naples, TX.
