Juandell Tenbrook Jacobs, age 97, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2024 in Daingerfield, Texas.  Juandell was born March 4, 1927, in Marietta, Texas, to Amos Tenbrook and Ruby Capps Tenbrook.

Juandell was a member of New Hope Seventh Day Adventist Church in Marietta where she devoted a lot of time and energy.  She retired from Red River Army Depot and owned and operated two nursing homes. Juandell loved to travel.  She visited numerous countries including Egypt, Peru, Taiwan, Italy, and Africa.  She also went on numerous mission trips.  Juandell loved her grandchildren.

Juandell was preceded in death by two husbands, Ray Jacobs and Walter Green; her parents; one daughter, Becky Quarles; two brothers, Adron Tenbrook and Forrest Tenbrook; and three sisters, Mary Westbrook, Ernestine West, and Maxine Tenbrook.

Survivors include her son-in-law, Kendale Quarles of Omaha; one granddaughter, Katie Dennis and husband Scott of Omaha; one grandson, Jacob Quarles and wife Charla of Athens, Texas; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples with Bro. Nathan Firmin officiating.  Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Marietta.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Seventh Day Adventist Church or New Hope Cemetery Association.
