Julia Margaret Bryan, age 82, of Douglassville, Texas, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016, at her home. Julia was born July 22, 1933 in Texarkana Arkansas.

Julia was a certified inspector with Day and Zimmerman. She enjoyed traveling, cruises, Mardi Gras, gambling, reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Bryan, mother, Gertie Murphy; one son, John E. Bryan; and three sisters, Johne Murphy, Gertie Lee Holley, and Thelma Moss.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Jennifer Bryan of Atlanta, Texas; one daughter, Jan Minks of Douglassville; special friend, Joann Letterman; nine grandchildren, James E. Bryan, Jessica Bryan, Julia Thomas, Jaime Thompson, Jacque Simmons, Jilly Taylor, Jody Harrison, Nissa Rhyne, and Leah Rhyne; thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Douglassville Cemetery in Douglassville.
