Karen Annette Barron, age 64, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 at her home in Marietta, Texas. Karen was born August 22, 1952, in Naples, Texas, to Sherman Arthur McIntyre and Ruby Anderson McIntyre.

Karen was a member at the First United Methodist Church in Naples. She was a woodworker with Greenwood Fixtures in Greenwood, Arkansas. She enjoyed sewing, travelling, and shopping. Karen loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, M.G. McIntyre and Max McIntyre; and one son-in-law, Jason Wiginton.

Surviving family members include her husband of 45 years, Jimmy "Bear" Barron of Greenwood; two daughters, Jamie Annette Barron, and Courtney Jade Wiginton of Greenwood; one brother, Reginald McIntyre and wife Shirley of Omaha; one sister, Maxine Garretson and husband Nick of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers-in-law, Tommy Barron and wife Deb of Omaha, and Douglas Barron and wife Rebecca of Marietta; three sisters-in-law, Ann McIntyre of Simms, Fay McIntyre of Brownwood, and Loretta Roach and Donnie Rowland of Cornett; six grandchildren, Andre Barron, Rebecka Chaline, ReAnna Chaline, Baleigh Wiginton, Rachel Wiginton, and Kaden Wiginton; one great-grandchild, Jayden Barron; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jay Barnes officiating. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Naples.
