Katherine Charlton, 95, of Omaha, Texas, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015, in a Mt. Pleasant, Texas nursing home. Mrs. Charlton was born May 21, 1920, in Naples, Texas, to Edward Adolphus Anderson and Edna McLeod Anderson.

Katherine was a homemaker. She was a member at First Baptist Church in Omaha, Texas. She enjoyed quilting.

Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Harvel Charlton, in 1985; her parents; one daughter, Joyce Charlton Ellis; one grandson, Tony Osmon; five brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Mickey and Sharon Charlton of De Kalb, Texas, and Andy Charlton of Douglassville; two grandchildren, Marty Charlton and Kristie Burney; three great-grandchildren, Jeremy Osmon, Jerald Morgan, and Toni Morgan; one great-great-granddaughter, Calli Osmon; and numerous other relatives.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2015, at Omaha Cemetery in Omaha, Texas, with Rev. Keith Lauter officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Omaha Cemetery Association.
