Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Edmonson, age 68, of Naples, Texas, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022, in Longview, Texas.  Kathy was born December 29, 1953, in Highland Falls, New York to George Hardy Griffin and Veronica Catherine Campion.

Kathy worked in the medical records at David Granberry Hospital in Naples and East Texas Medical Center in Pittsburg.  She was a member of the Church of Christ in Naples.  Kathy enjoyed playing golf and watching football.  She loved the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs.  Kathy also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, David Michael Edmonson, in 2021; her parents; and an infant sister, Catherine Griffin.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Liz Edmonson of Spring, Texas, Chris and Dacia Edmonson of Bullard, Texas, and Corey and Stephanie Edmonson of Naples; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, George Hardy, Jr. and Paula Griffin of Paris, Texas, Larry and Carol Griffin of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Dr. James P. and Joanna Griffin of Naples, Terry and Yvonne Griffin of Schertz, Texas, and Danny Griffin of Kaufman, Texas; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Gerald Williamson of Atlanta, Texas, Patty and Travis Pierce of Heath, Texas, Julie and Randall May of New Boston, Texas, and Beth and Scott McMichael of Naples; nine grandchildren, Greg, Andrew, Abigail, Logan, Ben, Zachary, Tyler, Katie, and London Edmonson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.
