Kathy Sue Simpson, age 63, of Hooks, Texas, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 in Texarkana, Texas. Kathy was born January 24, 1957, in Naples, Texas, to Marshall Edward Cobb and Wilma Jean Scarborough Cobb.

Kathy was a member at Bowie County Cowboy Church in DeKalb, Texas.  She retired from Red River Army Depot where she worked as a packer.  Kathy Enjoyed shopping, swimming, and horseback riding.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; and one grandson, Tracy Fielding.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Robert Simpson of Hooks; one son, Robert Russell Simpson and fiancé Amanda Davis of Texarkana, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Jarrod Fielding of Texarkana, Texas and Ashley and Jeff Jones of Texarkana, Arkansas; one brother and sister-in-law, William and LaTeresa Cobb of Texarkana, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Robert Phillips of Naples; six grandchildren, Jarrod "J.R." Fielding, Bryanna Fielding, Abigail Simpson, Remington Davis, Addison Jones, and Connor Jones; two great-grandchildren, Isaiah Fielding and Averely Brantley; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bryans Mill, Texas with Tuffy Williams officiating.  The body will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2021 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.
