Brenda Kaye Wakefield, age 60, of Naples, Texas, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026, in Omaha, Texas. Kaye was born October 23, 1965, in Yukon, Oklahoma, to Boyd Richardson, Jr. and Brenda Gayle Renfro Richardson.

Kaye was a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She enjoyed being outdoors, being at the beach, working in the yard, and traveling. Most of all, Kaye enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of others.

Kaye was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Carter.

Survivors include her husband, Doug Wakefield of Naples; her father, Boyd Richardson, Jr. of Texarkana, Arkansas; one son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Heather Rivera of Plano, Texas; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Natalie Wakefield of Naples, Jessica and Joshua Swint of Naples, and Codie and Steve Corah of Westerly, Rhode Island; one brother, Boyd Richardson, III of Texarkana; one sister and brother-in-law, Bridget and Sean Hill of Texarkana; two brothers-in-law, Darrell Wakefield and wife Tina of Hughes Springs, Texas, and Bill Reyno of Portland, Oregan; one sister-in-law, Tricia Foster and husband Robert of Omaha, Texas; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas.
