Kevin Todd Brumfield, age 60, died Tuesday, June 20th, 2023, at his home in Marietta, TX.

Kevin was born on December 20, 1962, in Naples, TX, but spent most of his youth growing up in Okinawa, Japan, and Blytheville, Arkansas, while his father was in the Air Force.  He attended Paul H. Pewitt High School after his family settled in Omaha, Texas.  Kevin played football and baseball in high school.  After high school, Kevin joined the Army, serving in Germany and Monterey, California. Following his honorable discharge, he rode his motorcycle from California to Omaha, TX, with Rufus, his black lab on board.  He was proud of his time in the Army and supported veterans by hosting benefits at his shop, Buzzards Roost Cycle Shop, in Marietta, TX. Kevin loved riding and working on motorcycles.  Kevin also worked as a large construction machine operator and on a ranch breaking horses. He earned his adult nickname "Numbnuts" working on the ranch.

Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Brumfield, and infant son, Daniel Todd Brumfield.

Survivors include his father, Ed Brumfield of Robinson, TX; son Zach (Mia) of Colmesneil, TX; sister Amanda Sonnier (Paul) of Robinson TX; sister Brandi Dahl (Corey) of Rochester, MN; and three nephews: Trevor and Dalton Sonnier and Connor Dahl.  He is also survived by a special cousin, Bill (Dinah) Hart of Cookville, TX, and numerous other relatives.  His family loved him and will miss him.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas with Rev. Glenn Griffith officiating.
