Spencer Landon Hampton, age 47, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, away passed Monday, January 8, 2024 in New Boston, Texas. Landon was born March 11, 1976, in Omaha, Texas to Auvis Wayne Hampton and Lola Jean Vaught Hampton.

Landon worked for Kansas City Southern Railroad as a conductor.  He was a member of BC Cycle Club in Omaha.  Landon loved spending time with his family.  He also loved his dog, Stella, and anything to do with trains.  He was passionate about riding motorcycles and he also enjoyed working on them.  Landon was an avid outdoorsman and loved shooting guns and going to the lake.

Landon was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Hampton; and one brother, Lance Hampton.

Survivors include his wife Sherrie Dryden of Mount Pleasant, Texas;  his father, Auvis Hampton of Omaha, Texas; two sons, Dustin Dryden and Austin Dryden of Mount Pleasant; one daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Justin Andrews of Savannah, Georgia; one sister-in-law, Amy Hampton of Omaha; two nieces, Emily Hampton and Audrey Hampton; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas.
