Laura Kay Presley, age 82, was born on February 23, 1943, in Waco, Texas to Walter and Katie Edison. She went to be with the Lord on December 19, 2025, at her home in Naples, Texas.

In 1961, Laura married the love of her life, Buddie Presley, beginning a marriage rooted in love, and devotion. Together they built a life centered on family and shared values.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Katie Edison; her brothers, Gene Edison and Thomas Edison; her sisters-in-law, Martha Owensby, Mary Nell Foster, and Glenda Presley; her brother-in-law, Earl Foster; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Chleo and H.H. Presley.

She is survived by her loving husband, Buddie Presley of Naples, Texas; her son, Terry Presley and wife Terri of Naples, Texas; her granddaughters, Kasi Crawford and husband Kyle of Kingwood, Texas, and Kourtney Herring and husband Ricky of Naples, Texas; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers-in-laws, Rickey Presley and James Presley, both of Naples, Texas, along with numerous other relatives and dear friends.

Laura was a woman of strong faith whose life reflected kindness, love, and quiet strength. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Chambers Hospice in Mount Pleasant, Texas

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home, Naples, Texas.
