Leonor Cantelar Villa, age 99, of Naples, Texas, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026, in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Leonor was born March 1, 1927, in Havana, Cuba, to Mr. and Mrs. Michael Cantelar.

Leonor was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Coral Gables, Florida. She retired from The University of Miami where she was the Architectural Librarian.  She enjoyed listening to music, attending ballets, going to operas, and reading. Most of all, Leonor loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Leonor was preceded in death by her husband, William Villa; her parents; one son, Bill Villa; one brother, Edward Cantelar; and one grandson, Joey Svrcek.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Lily and Joe Svrcek of Naples; five grandchildren, Kim Svrcek, Kelly Richey and husband Ryan, Chris Svrcek and wife Kadie, Billy Villa and wife Sole, and Natasha Livesay and husband William; fifteen great-grandchildren, Kayla Thomas, Joey Barnard, Valerie Hood, Bailey Svrcek, Megan Hardin, Tiffany Goldermann, Molly Richey, Kyler Richey, Eric Svrcek, Noah Svrcek, Caden Hardin, Stella Villa, Serena Villa, Liam Livesay, and Sadie Livesay; seven great-great-grandchildren; a special cousin, Ysa; and numerous other relatives and friends.
