Linda Louise Martin, age 78, of Cookville, Texas, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022 in Allen, Texas.  Linda was born March 20, 1944 in Jasper, Alabama to Woodrow Plyler and Louise Stewart Plyler.

Linda was a member of Southside Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.  She was a homemaker.  Linda enjoyed taking care of her pets, playing the piano, going out to eat, and spending time with her family.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Doyce Martin; and two brothers, Gene Plyler and Jimmy Plyler.

Survivors include two sons, Kendall Martin of Plano, Texas and Shane Martin of Garland, Texas; one brother-in-law, Marlin Martin of Naples, Texas; seven nieces, Brenda Leathers, Patty McClimans, Lisa Luttrell, Susan Giles, Vickey Waldrum, Tarji Jennings, and Sandra Jones; four nephews, Tracy Martin, Michael Waldrum, Rusty Martin, and Ricky Waldrum; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2022 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples with Bro. Leon Goff officiating.  Private burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg, Texas.
