Lorine Green McCord, age 84, of Marietta, Texas, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.  Lorine was born November 19, 1939, in Linden, Texas to Dick Green and Minnie Lee Dupree Green.

Lorine was a faithful member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church and she loved going to church.  She was a homemaker, and loved spending time with her family.  Lorine also enjoyed attending senior dances.

Lorine was preceded in death by her husband, Travis McCord; her parents; two sons, Eddie McCord and James McCord; one son-in-law, Randall Cobb; two sisters, Marjorie Hamlin and Corine Clark; and five brothers, Richard Green, Willard Green, Clarence Green, David Green, and Frank Green.

Survivors include two daughters, Becky Cobb and Lisa McCord of Naples, Texas; one son and two daughters-in-law, Robert and Laurie McCord of Marietta and Betty McCord of Omaha, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Green of Linden; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret and Bill Stock of Linden, Patsy and Ed McClary of Longview, Texas, and Betty and Larry Winchester of Bloomburg, Texas; ten grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2024 at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta with Dr. Chas Carlisle officiating.  Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Marietta.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
