Irma Louise Page, age 86, of Naples, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016, in a Mt. Pleasant, Texas nursing home. Louise was born January 26, 1930 in Naples, Texas to Vernard Franklin and Hattie Hauptman Franklin.
Louise retired from Paul Pewitt CISD after many years of working in the cafeteria. She was also a homemaker. She was a member at the First United Methodist Church in Naples. Louise enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Page in 1999; father, Vernard Franklin; mother and step-father, Hattie and Charlie Powell; and one son, Freddie Page.
Survivors include one son and two daughters-in-law, Wayne and Carlotta Page of Tyler, Texas and Ronnie Page of Naples; three grandchildren, Tim Page and wife Mary, Mickey Hargrove and husband Reese, and Kristi Watkins and husband Michael; seven great-grandchildren, Chase Hargrove, Ashley Winchester, Dylan Hargrove, Ashley Hill, Kathryn Page, Sarah Page, and Aubrey Watkins; one great-great-grandson, Lucas Winchester; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church in Naples with Rev. Jay Barnes officiating. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Naples.
