Tieny Louise Palmore, known to her friends and family as Louise, Mother and Gran, passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas at the age of 84. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.

Louise was born May 3, 1937 in Pickton, Texas to Bunyan Festus Points and Cecil Turner Points. After graduating from East Texas State University in Commerce, she married Willie James Palmore, Sr. They moved to Naples, Texas in 1961.

Louise was a proud teacher and educator in the Paul Pewitt school system for 34 years touching many lives of students in the community. She was an avid music lover and played piano in church for years. During her retirement years, she joined The Euterpean Club of music in Mt. Pleasant. Louise also valued her faith and put Christ first in her life. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Naples and attended community Bible studies spending many hours studying the Bible.

Louise's survivors include her husband of 62 years, Willie James Palmore, Sr.; two children and one son-in-law, Frank and Melinda Tritico and Jimmy Palmore; one brother and sister-in-law, John Bunyan Points and Barbara Points; one sister-in-law, Jean Jacobs; two grandchildren and one granddaughter-in-law, Amelia Michelle Tritico and Frank and Shea Tritico; one great-granddaughter, Emily Roan Tritico; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples. Funeral services will follow with Rev. Tim Edwards and Rev. Caleb Harp officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in Omaha.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Naples or the Concord Cemetery Association.
