Johnnie Louise Ramsey, age 93, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Louise was born August 10, 1925 in Omaha, Texas to Ollie Mae Harvey.

Louise was a lifetime member at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Omaha. She retired from Titus County Memorial Hospital, where she was a nurse's aide. She was also a homemaker. After retirement, she volunteered with the ladies Auxiliary at the hospital. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ramsey; her mother, Ollie Heard; one son, Howard Ramsey; one daughter, Elizabeth Ramsey; two brothers, Delbert Heard and Kenneth Heard; two sisters, Yvonne Meloling and Billie Jean Cope; and one grandson, Wade Ramsey.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Edwin and Sue Ramsey of Omaha, and Johnny and Deb Ramsey of Omaha; two daughters and one son-in-law, Betty and Jerry Cannon of Texarkana, Texas, and Becky Gillean of Mt. Pleasant; nine grandchildren, Cory, Rustin and Jessica, Cody and Amy, Cole, Scotty, Steven, Gerald and Tempa, Amanda, and Amy; twenty-one great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Falyn, Preston, Chance, Hunter and Loren, Carli, Caitlyn, Holt, Maddie, Hayden, Jacob, Kayla, Karoline, Braden, Raleigh, Colton, Whitney, Jackson, Corbin, Hawk, and Gabriel; two great-great-grandchildren, Tinleigh and Ella Kate; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Omaha with Chaplain Shiles Hubbell officiating. Interment will follow at Omaha Cemetery in Omaha. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the church, prior to the funeral.
