Obituary

Luna Belle Crocker, age 86, of Marietta, Texas, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024 in Longview, Texas. Luna was born October 23, 1937, in Naples, Texas to Roy Oland Hicks and Rethel Ardith Burns Hicks.

Luna was a member of the First Baptist Church in Naples. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Luna work at Morris County National Bank as a teller for 30 years before retiring. She also worked at the Omaha City Hall. Luna enjoyed painting pictures, quilting, sewing, and doing various crafts. She also enjoyed gardening, canning, and cooking. Luna loved spending time with her family.

Luna was preceded in death by her husband, Max Peek; her parents; and two brothers, Roy Hicks, Jr. and R.A. Hicks.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Joe Wesley Crocker of Marietta; one daughter and one son-in-law, Angela and Joe Berry of Naples; one son, Kyle Peek of Naples; three stepsons, James Crocker of Naples, Jerry Crocker and wife Belinda of Marietta, and Loyd Davlin of Naples; two stepdaughters, Darla Ragland of Naples and Vicki Crocker and wife Shelia Taylor of Naples; two sisters, Lillian Jones of Mabank, Texas and Mary Jo Preston of Denton, Texas; eight grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas. Graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Omaha Cemetery in Omaha, Texas with Bro. Dwaine Higgins officiating.
