Preston Alan "Mack" Barrington, age 73, of Naples, Texas, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at his home. Mack was born September 10, 1950, in Carthage, Texas, to Marlon Dale Barrington and Evelyn Ann Barham Barrington.

Mack worked at the Red River Army Depot in the Defense Logistics Agency. He loved spending time with his family and his dog Lillie Bell. Mack enjoyed cooking steaks, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and tinkering with things. He also enjoyed guns, reloading bullets, wood working, and rebuilding things.

Mack was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Morris "Tad" Barrington; one sister, Mary Jo Barrington; and beloved mother-in-law, Elizabeth Kinney.

Survivors include his wife, Kathi Barrington of Naples, Texas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Alisha and Brad Crabtree of Simms, Texas and Jessica Jones of Tyler, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Kacey Barrington of Hope, Arkansas; one brother, Joe S. Smith of Tyler; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Marlene "Doll" and Kerry Hicks of Naples and Janice Swallow of Griffith, Indiana; four grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2024 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Creekmore Cemetery in Naples.
