Margaret Louise "Margie" Harty, age 89, of Naples, Texas, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.  Margie was born June 13, 1931 in Wyandotte, Michigan to Earl Bryan Sowers and Alice Mildred Lorton Sowers.

Margie was a member at Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Omaha, Texas.  She worked at Red River Army Depot in her younger days.  Margie enjoyed playing Bunco and watching football and baseball.  She loved spending time with her family.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Bro. Bill Harty; her parents; and two sisters, Lois Stroschein and Flossie Dezomit.

Survivors include one daughter, Cindy Tucker of Naples; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Butch and Belinda Abston of Bryans Mill and Danny Abston of Bryans Mill; one sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Marion Bojanowski of Wyandotte, Michigan; seven grandchildren, Rodney Hayes, Kevin Hayes, Timmy Tucker, Deidra Namken and husband Mike, Leslie Abston, Jennifer Crocker and husband Jody, and Bryan Abston; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Margie's body will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday, November 23, 20 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.  Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Marietta with Rev. Nolan Richey officiating.
