Mark Melton "Rocky" Moore, age 85, of Naples, Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017, in Naples. Rocky was born October 22, 1931 in Douglassville, Texas to G.S. Moore and Lizzie Mae Melton Moore.

Rocky was a member at the First United Methodist Church in Naples. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and a Texas Air National Guard Veteran. Rocky and his wife Sharon spent their working years in the Dallas area. He was an area manager for the Texas Employment Commission. In his free time, Rocky enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys. Upon retirement, they moved back to Naples and became very active in the community. Rocky enjoyed riding his tractor and tending to his animals. He especially enjoyed the time he spent with his son.

Rocky was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Moore in 2015; his parents; and one sister, Polly Moore.

Surviving family members include his son, Mark Moore of Naples; several nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church in Naples. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church in Naples with Bro. Jay Barnes and Bro. Doug Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Naples.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Autism Society of America.
