Marshall Edward "Tiny Bub" Cobb, age 82, of Naples, Texas, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Marshall was born December 22, 1934 in Naples, Texas to Odis Oscar Cobb and Versey Alice Jacobs Cobb.

Marshall was a member at Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church in Naples. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He was a carpenter. He also worked several years at Day and Zimmerman where he was a bay leader and high explosives operator. He was a member of the Naples Trail Riders. Marshall enjoyed drinking coffee at Nett's, gardening, and working with the Naples Watermelon Festival. He valued God, Country, and family. He was a strong man who was always there to help anyone in need, and he loved his family dearly.

Marshall was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Jean Cobb in 2006; parents; two brothers, Odis Cobb, Jr. and Ronald Joe Cobb; and three sisters, Thelma Reeves, Marie Doggett, and Charlene Jaynes.

Surviving family members include two daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and Robert Phillips of Naples and Kathy Sue and Robert Simpson of Hooks; one son and daughter-in-law, William and LaTeresa Cobb of Hooks; two sisters, Mary Carpenter and Bernice Higgins both of Naples; eleven grandchildren including Leanna and Parrish Smith who took special care of Tiny Bub; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2017 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church in Naples with Bro. Tim Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Cornett Cemetery in Naples.
