Martha Ann Carver, age 89, of Bryan, Texas, formerly of Omaha, Texas, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023 at her home.  Martha was born January 10, 1934, in Camden, Arkansas, to Dillard Alexander Faucett, Sr. and Allie Corinne Poole Faucett.

Martha was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Naples.  She retired from Paul Pewitt Elementary School where she taught kindergarten for many years.  She enjoyed drinking coffee, watching soap operas, and watching sports.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Howard F. Carver; her parents; three brothers, Dillard Faucett, Jr., Joseph Faucett, and Thomas Faucett; six sisters, Alice Nichols, Ida Rigby, Viola "Wompie" Koerper, Mickey Thomas, Mary Wiggins, and Margie Lucky.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, John Robert and Laticia Carver of Marietta, Texas, Wes Carver of Bryan, Texas, and Joe Don and Sharon Carver of Bryan, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Naples, Texas.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the funeral.
