Mary Lew Batchelor, age 82, of Naples, Texas, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Mary Lew was born August 21, 1934 in Naples to Lewis Vernon McMichael and Mary Lucille Robison McMichael.

Mary Lew was a real estate agent, and she was secretary for State Representative Lenoy Slider. She attended Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church. Mary Lew was very involved in the Naples Civic Pride organization, and also attended the Women's Bible Study in Mt. Pleasant. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, antiquing, and gardening.

Mary Lew was preceded in death by her Husband, Billy Wayne Batchelor, in 2009; and her parents.

Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Kate Batchelor of Tyler, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Mitch and Joanette Batchelor of Naples; three grandchildren, Jason Batchelor and wife Amanda, Beau Batchelor and wife Christi, and Kinly Batchelor; six great-grandchildren, Haley Batchelor, Cole Batchelor, McKenna Batchelor, Kloe Northam, Roxi Crocker, and Wyatt Batchelor; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church in Naples with Bro. Dwaine Higgins officiating. Interment will follow at Wilder Cemetery in Naples.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wilder Cemetery Association.
