Mary Magalene Gipson Lovelady, age 93, of Naples, Texas, passed away Monday, July 15, 2019 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.  Mary was born August 23, 1925 in Silver Lake, Texas to Lem Davis and Alpha Omega Cummings Davis.

Mary was a member of Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church in Naples.  She was a homemaker.  She enjoyed traveling, fishing, camping, gardening, crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her family.  She also loved to play dominoes and Farkle.  Mary loved her little dog, "Precious."

Mary was preceded in death by two husbands, Ray Gipson and George Lovelady; three sons, R.W. Gipson, Glenn Gipson, and James Edward Gipson; one stepson, Joe Lovelady; one stepdaughter, Debbie Pearson; two brothers, Samuel Davis and C.W. Davis; one sister, Ardelia Martin; and one grandson, Rodney Wayne Stewart.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jackie and Deborah Gipson of Daingerfield, Texas and Kenneth and Carol Gipson of Naples; one daughter, Betty Surratt of Naples; one stepson, George Lovelady of Palestine, Texas, Judy Jameson of Edmond, Oklahoma, Dolly Lovelady of Palestine, Jerry Lamb of Palestine, and Georgia Mae Neal of Palestine; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James and Brenda Thomas of Daingerfield, Bill and Lula Mae Sadler of Rockwall, and Jeanette Disher of Indianapolis, Indiana; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2019 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas.  Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the funeral home with Bro. Bryan Peck, Bro. Doug Freeman, and Bro. Leon McDowell officiating. Interment will follow at Naples Cemetery in Naples.
