Mary Ellen Richardson, age 89, of Naples, Texas, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at her home. Mary was born July 27, 1929 in Simms, Texas to William Richey Bostian and Ilie B. West Bostian.

Mary retired from Day and Zimmerman Ammunition Plant.  She was also a licensed vocational nurse.  Mary was very active at Restoration Family Worship Center and spent countless hours volunteering to help with different things at the church.  She also worked at the Naples Public Library and was a member of the Woodmen of the World.  Mary enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, and reading.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Novell Richardson; her parents; one son, James Franklin; ten brothers and sisters; one granddaughter, Paula Romanelli; and two great-grandsons, Chase Summar and Kolton Brown.

Survivors include four daughters, Elaine Green of Simms, Texas, Janice Franklin of Huntsville, Alabama, Reta Hanson and husband Charles of Huntsville, Alabama, and Reva Madsen and husband Monte of San Antonio, Texas; one son, Mike Franklin of DeKalb, Texas; one sister, Ella Faye Hunt of Salem, Oregon; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2019 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Restoration Family Worship Center with Bro. Bryan Peck and Bro. Mike Maxon, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Simms, Texas.
