Mary Vauncille Watson, age 88, of Naples, Texas, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017, in Naples. Mary was born March 21, 1928, in New Boston, Texas, to M. L. and Alma Bartlett Waldrum.

Mary was a member at First Baptist Church in Naples. She was a retired nurse. She enjoyed crocheting, loved her grandchildren, and also loved music and hymns.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry "Bill" Watson; her parents; five brothers, Johnny Waldrum, Herbert Waldrum, Wayne Waldrum, William Waldrum, and Leroy Waldrum; and one sister, Linda Long.

Surviving family members include two daughters and sons-in-law, Dee and Don Hollister of Greenville, Texas and Alicia "Piddle" and Randy Teal of Naples, Texas; one stepdaughter and son-in-law, Lynda and Gary Sims of Bryans Mill, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Maxine and Buddy Bobo of Texarkana; five grandchildren, Keith Teal, Kassie Teal, Kristen Cude and husband David, Cacey Hollister, Julie Hollister, Tiffany Byers and husband Greg, Eric Sims and wife Sarah, Paul Sims and fiancé Hillary Brown; eight great-grandchildren, Dezrick Harris, Noah Sims, Jake Sims, Luke Sims, Eli Sims, Annabelle Sims, Josh Byers, and Alyssa Byers; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2017 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel in Naples with Bro. Tim Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery, Naples, Texas.
