Estell Maurine Barton, age 83, of Naples, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at her home. Maurine was born December 11, 1932 in Daingerfield, Texas.

Maurine retired from Red River Army Depot. She was a member at Rocky Point Congregational Methodist Church in Naples, Texas. Maurine enjoyed fishing, football games, playing bingo and spending time with her grandkids and family.

Maurine was preceded in death by her husband Ray Barton in 2007; her parents, Hershel and Iberta Lilley; one daughter, Janice Matthews; and one daughter-in-law, Betty Barton.

Surviving family members include four sons, James and Michele Barton of Naples, Jerry Barton of Naples, Jackie and Sandy Barton of Naples, Johnny and Gail Barton of Naples; two brothers, Wayne Lilley of Daingerfield, Texas and Weldon Lilley of Daingerfield, Texas; three sisters and brother-in-law; Nelda and Bobby Harrell of Daingerfield, Texas, Sue Bowman of Lone Star, Texas, Gail Lilley of Daingerfield, Texas; eleven grandchildren; 26 great-granchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2016, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Rocky Point Congregational Methodist Church in Naples with Bro. Dwaine Higgins officiating. Interment will follow at Cornett Cemetery in Naples.
