Melvin Darryl Nogle, age 86, of Simms, Texas, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024 at his home.  Melvin was born October 6, 1937, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Walter Clifton Nogle and Olgena Pay Prouse Nogle.

Melvin retired from Union Express where he was a truck driver.  He was a Baptist.  Melvin loved Indian Pow Wow dances and Indian arts and crafts.  He also enjoyed going to rodeos and looking at horses and cattle.

Melvin was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Nogle of Simms; two sons, Michael Nogle and Daniel Nogle of Dallas, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Phil and Sherry Nogle of Danville, Illinois; one sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Tom Higgins of Houston, Texas; mother-in-law, Carol Keller of Mesa, Arizona; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carla and Steve Dunham of Mesa, Arizona; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home, Naples, Texas
