Mickey Roe Seely, age 80, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Mickey was born June 4, 1937 in Marlowe, Oklahoma to Otis Montgomery Seely and Myrtle Virgie Offield Seely.

Mickey was a member at Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Omaha. He was a retired sheriff's deputy, and a long-time rancher. Mickey enjoyed watching baseball, fishing, tending to cattle, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Mickey was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Johnny Seely; one daughter, Kay Seely; three brothers, Bill Seely, Gene Seely, and Jim Seely; three sisters, Nora Farmer, Angie Farmer, and Wanda Stephens; and one grandson, Ricky Don Rosewell.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Jan Seely of Omaha; two daughters and one son-in-law, Cindy Seely of Chandler, Texas, and Jonna and Todd Tye of Texarkana, Texas; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Dub and Judy Seely of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Ben and Susan Seely of Newberry, South Carolina, and Dean and Mary Seely of Chandler; seven grandchildren, Chris Seely and wife Jamie, Kristi Hooten and husband Robert, April Blease and husband Eric, Tori Parpart, Jana Parpart, Jona Parpart, and Jackson Tye; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2018 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nolan Richey officiating. Interment will follow at Omaha Cemetery in Omaha.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cypress Basin Hospice of Mt. Pleasant.
