Charles Michael "Mike" Carlisle, age 75, of Daingerfield, Texas, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at his home. Mike was born January 31, 1948, in Naples, Texas, to Billy Aaron Carlisle and Iva Faye Hicks Carlisle.

Mike was a Baptist. He owned and operated Cherokee DJ and Karaoke. He was a United States Air Force veteran that served during Vietnam. Mike belonged to the Southern Cherokee Nation in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma. His Indian name was Whitewolf. Mike was a life member of the VFW Post 6968 in Linden, Texas. He enjoyed tending to flowers, gardening, telling jokes, and photography. Mike also enjoyed meeting new people, working on classic cars, going to Galveston, and watching Star Trek. His lifelong goal was to find the end of the internet.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Carlisle of Daingerfield, Texas; one son, Chris Carlisle of Daingerfield; one daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Michael Parker of Daingerfield; one stepson, T.J. Martin of Matthews, Missouri; one stepdaughter, Chelsea Martin of Youngstown, Ohio; one sister and brother-in-law, Kaye and Bill Morris of North Carolina; one grandchild, Ivan Sawyer Hatten; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Don Juan's Mexican Restaurant in Hughes Springs, Texas. Memorial service and karaoke will be Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Don Juan's Mexican Restaurant in Hughes Springs, Texas with Rev. Michael Roberts officiating.
