Michael Earl "Mike" Franklin, age 62, of New Boston, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 in Texarkana, Texas. Mike was born November 15, 1960, in Harlingen, Texas, to Roy Edward Franklin and Mary Ellen Bostian Franklin.

Mike attended Harvest Temple Church in Simms, Texas. He worked as a United States Navy Veteran, and worked as a computer programmer. In his younger years Mike enjoyed painting. He also enjoyed doing puzzles and playing dominoes.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, James Franklin.

Survivors include one son, Roy Fulfer and wife Erica of Bessemer, Alabama; one daughter, Tonya Smith and husband Lee of Odessa, Texas; four sisters, Elaine Green of New Boston, Texas, Janice Franklin of New Boston, Reta Hanson and husband Charles of Huntsville, Alabama, and Reva Madsen and husband Monte of San Antonio, Texas; two grandchildren, Tiffany and Michael; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2023 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas with Rev. Bryan Peck, Tommy Barron, and Rev. Monte Madsen. Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Simms, Texas.
